Climate change is the biggest issue facing the world as we head further into the century. Flooding, drought, and rising sea levels are just some of the major climate events that are already affecting millions. One of the major issues, as a result, is how infrastructure in both urban and rural communities will be affected by climate change. Theuns Henning is an expert in climate change adaptation and infrastructure performance and has written extensively on these issues. He spoke with Sam Smith about our infrastructure and how it will be affected by climate change.Β
