Listen to a conversation between Cate Macinnis-Ng, associate professor in the School of Biological Sciences, and Niki Harre, professor in the School of Psychology on how trees respond to climate-related stress. Cate’s speciality is kauri and drought, so this conversation is particularly topical given the recent dry spell. This podcast is by the Faculty of Science Sustainability Network and is a pilot for a possible series of short podcasts featuring sustainability topics.

Cate Macinnis-Ng is an Associate Professor in Biological Sciences at the University of Auckland. She is a plant ecophysiologist and ecohydrologist specialising in water and carbon fluxes of trees and other vegetation.
