Joe Biden campaigned on promises to reverse many of Donald Trump’s immigration policies. The new American president signed three executive orders to alter the previous administration’s immigration policies, as well as outline a new approach to amnesty and residency for foreign nationals in the US. What does this all mean for America’s immigration policy? Doug Becker speaks with Joanne Lin and Hiroshi Motumura.

Joanne Lin is the National Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs at Amnesty International, USA.

Hiroshi Motomura is a Susan Westerberg Prager Distinguished Professor of Law at UCLA. He is an expert in immigration law and is the author of Americans in Waiting: The Lost Story of Immigration and Citizenship in the United States.
