Political donation scandals are dominating New Zealand politics at the moment, with the Serious Fraud Office investigating two separate cases involving donations to the National Party and the New Zealand First Foundation. Political parties in New Zealand only need to declare private donations that exceed $30,000 over a period of 12 months. However, if they are found not to have done, this then they are breaking the law. What does it all mean? Why should we be invested in this conversation? Lillian Hanly spoke with Bryce Edwards. 

Bryce Edwards is a Lecturer in Political Studies at Victoria University. He is an expert in New Zealand politics.
