Technobabble is a brand new short mini-series focused on science communication. Over this series, we’re going to discover and explore what science journalism is, what it does, and some of the big questions around communicating science to the public. Not only are we going to get to know a few of our most active science reporters in New Zealand, but we’re also going to delve in to some excellent representatives from the University of Auckland academic world. As the famed scientist and communicator Carl Sagan once said, “somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be discovered.”

Johan Chang is a postgraduate student in Politics and International Relations at the University of Auckland.
