David Livingstone Smith is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of New England. He is an expert in the philosophy of psychology and is the author of Less Than Human: Why We Demean, Enslave, and Exterminate Others.

Garrett Albert Duncan is an Associate Professor of Education in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. He is an expert on race and culture.
